Lecturameter no recopila, almacena ni transmite ningún dato personal a servidores externos, salvo en los siguientes casos:
1. Google Drive (opcional)
Si activas la copia de seguridad en la nube, la app se conecta a tu cuenta de Google mediante OAuth2 para guardar una copia de tus libros y sesiones en la raíz de tu Drive. Solo tú tienes acceso a esos archivos. En ningún caso el desarrollador puede ver, modificar ni eliminar esos datos.
2. APIs externas de metadatos
Para buscar portadas y metadatos de libros, la app puede consultar las siguientes APIs directamente desde tu dispositivo (sin pasar por servidores propios):
- OpenLibrary
- Google Books
- MangaDex
- AniList
- Hardcover
Estas llamadas no incluyen datos personales; solo el título o ISBN buscado.
3. Permisos de la app
- Internet: necesario para buscar portadas y hacer backup en Drive.
- Almacenamiento local: para guardar backups en el dispositivo.
- Cuenta de Google (OAuth2): solo si usas el backup en Drive. Puedes revocar el acceso en cualquier momento desde tu cuenta de Google.
- Arranque del dispositivo (BOOT_COMPLETED): para reprogramar alarmas de recordatorio tras reinicio.
4. Datos generados localmente
Toda la información (libros, sesiones, estadísticas) se almacena exclusivamente en el dispositivo del usuario. Lecturameter no tiene servidores propios y no accede a estos datos.

Lecturameter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers, except in the following cases:
1. Google Drive (optional)
If you enable cloud backup, the app connects to your Google account via OAuth2 to save a copy of your books and sessions to the root of your Drive. Only you have access to those files. The developer cannot view, modify, or delete that data under any circumstances.
2. External metadata APIs
To search for book covers and metadata, the app may query the following APIs directly from your device (not through any proprietary server):
- OpenLibrary
- Google Books
- MangaDex
- AniList
- Hardcover
These calls do not include personal data — only the title or ISBN being searched.
3. App permissions
- Internet: required to search for covers and back up to Drive.
- Local storage: to save backups on the device.
- Google account (OAuth2): only if you use Drive backup. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account.
- Device boot (BOOT_COMPLETED): to reschedule reading reminders after a reboot.
4. Locally generated data
All data (books, sessions, statistics) is stored exclusively on the user's device. Lecturameter has no proprietary servers and does not access this data.
